I decided to give this mural a title and named it: Giant Little Creature
In Part 3 of Giant Mural Commission by Winston Torr, I have shown and explained the process of painting the figures with a telescope brush I made.
In Part 2 of Giant Mural Commission by Winston Torr, I had wallpapered a 4.5 x 3.5 meter, about 4 x 5 yard, full of newspaper in preparation to draw on. Once that was done, another wash of wall paper tapestry binder solution was applied, and let dry for many days.
As explained in Part 1, I just a received this Giant Commission from Fellini Gallery to do a huge Mural measuring 4.5 x 3.5 meters, about 4 x 5 yards, for their Grand Opening titled “Amarcord” in Kreuzberg – Berlin, Germany scheduled for early September 2011.
and now, the Final Part, what the whole world has been waiting for is now available to view on Vimeo!
Here are some pictures to help visualize the whole piece!
Measurements: 4.5 x 3.5 meters (4x5 yards) Duration: August to September 2011 Medium: Acrylic on Newspaper under Acrylic Polymer Executed with a telescope drawing mechanism. View it live at: Fellini Gallery Mittenwalder Str. 6 10961 Berlin, Germany by Winston Torr © July - August 2011 thank you Fellini Gallery Berlin, and everyone for all your support! images and more info are available for download primarily for editorial and press purposes at winstontorr.com or if you like to do a story on this piece, you are welcome to contact me through my email located on winstontorr.com.
